MUNIMAR at Fehmarn Belt Days 2025: A Successful Showcase of Innovation and Dialogue

The Fehmarnbelt Days 2025, held from 14–16 June in Lübeck, brought together regional stakeholders for a dynamic weekend of dialogue and innovation. The event featured a festival along the Trave River and an opening address by Minister President Daniel Günther.

This year’s event featured over 100 speakers from Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, and covered a broad range of topics, including regional development, infrastructure, tourism, and innovation. With more than 200 registered guests from politics, business, academia, and administration, Fehmarnbelt Days fostered valuable discussions and partnerships.

A key highlight was the spotlight on marine issues, where MUNIMAR – Centre for Marine Munitions Management, presented alongside MEKUN, UKSH, and GEOMAR. The focus was on the critical issue of munitions in the sea, with MUNIMAR introducing its efforts in sustainable marine munitions management.

“Coffee with Environmental Minister Goldschmidt” on Sunday, 15 June.

MUNIMAR Panel Talk on Monday, 16 June, which discussed key challenges and solutions in marine munitions management.

Fehmarnbelt Days 2025 proved to be a pivotal platform for innovation, collaboration, and progress within the region.
