Northern Germany must quickly take the necessary steps to recover ammunition from the sea in order to safeguard shipping, offshore activities, tourism and fishing. The exploration, monitoring, recovery and disposal of old ammunition from the North Sea and Baltic Sea are not only an ecological challenge and a safety risk, but also an economic opportunity. Companies can contribute technological innovations, investment power and practical implementation expertise. The economy can contribute the following skills to MUNIMAR:
